Jodi Glaser Taub is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Ithaca College. A former contributor to PBS Sprout for Parents, Jodi has written professionally on such parenting topics as fostering positive reading habits, handling separation anxiety, celebrating holidays with children, and navigating the sometimes daunting New York City preschool admissions process.  She was formerly the Assistant Director of Publicity for Simon and Schuster Books and on the publicity staff for Hyperion Books and Golden Books Family Entertainment,  As a writer, she has written professionally for ABC-TV, ESPN, and for such acclaimed personalities as Joe Torre, Joy Behar, Donny Osmond, John Walsh, Jane Seymour, and Nancy Cartwright (the voice behind the infamous Bart Simpson).  A strong advocate of fostering children's early reading skills, she has worked at Greenwillow and Morrow Junior Books, where she helped launch the careers of numerous celebrated authors and illustrators, including Herman Parish (Amelia Bedelia Books), Kevin Henkes (Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse and Owen), Judith Caseley, Don and Nina Cruz, Tana Hoban, and Jack Prelutsky.  She has tutored privately for over twenty years, and her clients include students from Packer, Buckley, Saint Ann's, Poly Prep, Brearly, Hunter, Horace Mann, Riverdale, Brooklyn Friends, BASIS, Berkeley Carroll, PS 29, PS 321, PS 8, PS 58, PS 261, MS 8, MS 51, Nest, BSI, Edward R. Murrow High School, Stuyvesant, Brooklyn Tech, Midwood High School, Beacon High School, Bard, and Laguardia High School.
